SFP G.hn

Introduction

The zGHN-3100C is a compact, hot-pluggable SFP transceiver designed to deliver high-speed G.hn Wave-2 SISO broadband connectivity over existing twisted-pair telephone lines. Powered by MaxLinear 88LX5153 and 88LX2730 chipsets, it achieves PHY rates up to 2 Gbps and features built-in Ethernet bridging. Fully compliant with ITU-T G.hn standards and SFP MSA specifications, it integrates 128-bit AES encryption, ITU-T K.21 surge protection, and ultra-low power consumption under 1.98W into a plug-and-play SFP form factor.

2 Gbps G.hn Wave-2 Performance

Delivers up to 2 Gbps PHY rate over existing phone line twisted-pair cabling using the 2–200 MHz frequency band

Compact SFP MSA Form Factor

Plugs directly into standard SFP ports to instantly add G.hn copper backhaul capability to networking equipment

K.21 Surge Protection & Security

Integrated ITU-T K.21 lightning surge protection combined with 128-bit AES hardware encryption

Ultra-Low Power Efficiency

Consumes less than 1.98W of power with automated low-power and sleep mode support.
