Introduction

The HT-25SPON is a high-performance GPON SFP ONU optical transceiver designed to seamlessly integrate GPON optical terminal functionality into standard SFP ports. Powered by the Lantiq PEF98035ET chipset, it delivers high-speed asymmetric bandwidth of 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream. Fully compliant with ITU-T G.984.x standards and SFP MSA specifications, the HT-25SPON provides an efficient plug-and-play solution for enterprise and broadband networking equipment.

High-Bandwidth GPON Standard

Compliant with ITU-T G.984.x (G.984.5 supported) and Class B+ specs, supporting 2.488 Gbps downlink and 1.244 Gbps uplink over single-mode fiber.

Advanced Layer 2 & Traffic Management

Supports 4096-byte MTU, G.988 VLAN tagging operations, Multicast VLAN, and flexible QoS scheduling (SP, WRR, SP+WRR).

Robust Security & Firmware Protection

Features AES-128 decryption, upstream/downstream FEC, and dual-image rollback mechanisms to guarantee safe firmware updates.

Flexible Management & Low Power

Offers management via OMCI, Web GUI, CLI, and Telnet, with low power consumption under 1.8W at full loading (25°C).
