The MOCA-MXL001 is a MoCA2.0 adapter, based on MxL3707-AQ-R , which is Maxlinear’s third generation MoCA 2.0 coaxial network controller, and RTL8211E-VB-CG chip solution.
It’s used to create home networks over existing in-home coax cabling with gigabit throughput performance. It is backward-compatible with MoCA 1.1 and MoCA 1.0.
In addition, it supports an enhanced mode with a MAC throughput of 1.2Gbps within a 16-node network.
This MOCA frequency range is 1125M to 1675M. It supports 1Gbps data rate and supports a bonded operation in dual 100MHz RF channels.
It provides an extremely fast connection in LAN network.
MOCA-MXL001 provides two RF interfaces which are RF_IN and RF_OUT. The RF_IN port is used for two nodes to establish connection.
RF_OUT is used for mixing the CATV signal to RF_IN port or filtering out the CATV signal from RF_IN port.
